Sixth Incision [Voice, Action]
[Action, Part One]
[It's been several days since the Kin'Corans have returned home -- several days in which Syre has been oddly at ease with herself.]
[Today, however, she feels... anxious. antsy, even.]
[The rush of recently arrived New Feathers make her want to go out and about, possibly get acquainted with some of the new faces. Of course, anyone she already knows is free to bump into her, as well!]
[Voice]
[Later in the evening, she sets up a feed for a little voice chat.]
Good evening, friends and New Feathers -- that is to say, anyone that has just recently arrived to our fine enclosure... My name is Syre Atries.
Rather than waste your time with a wordy introduction, I'd like to pose a question.
Are any of you interested in the sciences? Biology, specifically. I've been wanting to get back to my research as of late, and it's quite hard to hold a discussion when there are so few that enjoy it as much as I do...
[Action, Part Two]
[Then, later that night, Syre is going to be roaming about the plaza. More specifically, she's going to be people watching -- the few people that are out and about at this time of night will not be spared her studious, almost analytical gaze.]
[Those of you that notice her watching are free to question why she's staring at you like a scientist would study a lab rat, of course.]

Re: [Voice]
So once the armor had been modified, he had no choice but to wear it?
[Voice]
[Then, with mischief clear in her tone:] The poor sap is lucky I didn't have the time to turn him into a woman.
[Voice]
[Voice] -> [Video]
[The video feed comes on moments later, Syre seems to have all of her materials gathered, just barely in view of the journal's camera.]
It certainly wouldn't take me long.
As long as you like. I'm very curious to see now.
[From the things gathered at the edges of the screen, she grabs a stick of charcoal, hastily marking something on her table; then, she reaches what looks like a small petri dish, filled with water.]
[Then, she sets one hand lightly on the charcoal markings, and a brief flicker of blue light illuminates the scrawling. With her other hand, she does a sort of pulling motion, as though willing the water to move.]
[A thin tendril of water rises erratically from the dish, wrapping around itself like a vine growing around a support; small flowers even grow on the miniature water vine, sparkling beautifully in the light.]
But he can grasp the basic principles easily enough.]
Ah, I see. Nicely done.
Took me a few years to hone my alchemy into what it is now. But, I'd like to think...
[She moves her hand from over the little water flower to quickly etch in something small in the circle; before it has a chance to change out of shape, it freezes solid.]
...that it was worth it.
'tis always worth it.
I've got plenty out tricks to show, after all. [She laughs.]

...outside of my materials, is there anything I should bring? Tea or coffee, perhaps? [...because if she's going to be performing demonstrations, she's more than willing to bring treats.]
In that case... I'll let you be back to what you were working on before, yes?
[She laughs, giving the camera a little wave.]
I'll see you tomorrow.
